Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

2^nd Class Bachelor Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University with B.Ed.

However, candidates that have appeared or are appearing in the final semester/year examination shall also be eligible to apply, subject to production of Original Certificate/Mark Sheet at the time of Viva Voce /Interview.

Age Limit

Candidates should not be less than 21 years ofage and not more than 33 years of age as on 13.05.2022, However, the upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for APST and another 5 years for Government and Semi Covernment Departmental Staff of the State of Arunachal Pradesh. For APST PwD candidates, upper age limit will be relaxed by 15 years

How to Apply

1. Before applying online, candidate must mandatory carry out 0NE TIME REGISTRATION (OTR) on the Commission's website www.appsc.gov.in.

2. Candidates are required to apply online using the website www.appsc.gov.in Detail instructions for One Time Registration (OTR) and 0nline Application are available on the above-mentioned website. The applicants are advised to submit only single application; However, if due to any unavoidable situation, a candidate submits another/ multiple applications, then he/she must ensure that application with the registration ids (RID) is complete in all respect like applicant's details, Photograph, Signature, Photo ID, Fee etc. The application with higher RID shall be entertained by the Commission. Fee paid against one RID shall not be adjusted against any other RID.

3. Those candidates who have already registered in OTR need not register again and they can directly log in to fill up online form using their user lD and password.

4. Fee has to be paid separately for each application and is nont ransferable.

Method of Selection

Selection Process (Two Stages) A Written Examination followed by Interview/ Viva-Voce.

1. Written Examination:
Eligible Applicants will be required to undertake a Written Examination in the following subjects:
(a) General English: 100 Marks
(b) Genera1 Knowledge: 100 Marks
(c) Concerned Subject: Paper I (0bjective Type and shall Cover entire syllabus of Concern ed subject): 100 Marks, Paper II (Conventional Essay Type, Covering the entire syllabus of Concerned subject): 100 Marks

To qualify, an applicant must score a minimum of 33% in each subject as also, a minimum of 45o/o in aggregate score. Of such qualified candidates, a number three times the advertised posts (Approximately 777), in the order of merit, will be eligible and invited for the Interview/ Viva-Voce.

2. Interview/ Viva-Voce:
Viva Voce followed by Classroom Teaching: 50 Marks

Examination Fees

To be paid online.

1. For APST candidates: Rs.150/- (Rupees one hundred fifty) only.

2. For Other candidates: Rs.200/- (Rupees two hundred) only.

1. The Commission reserved the right to conduct a 'Recruitment Test' (Preliminary TestJ, if the number of Applicants is significantly large. The'Recruitment Test' will be Multiple Choice, Objective Type, to be answered on OMR Sheet in Concerned Subiect.

2. Based on the Order of Merit of the 'Recruitment Test', Applicants, twelve times the advertised posts will be eligible and invited for the Written Examination.

3. Final Merit List of Successful Applicants notified by this Commission, will be based on the aggregate marks of the written examination and lnterview/Viva-Voce.

4. Applicants in Government Service may apply direct to this Commission under intimation to their respective Heads of Department.
