OFFICE OF THE PRINCIPAL :: DERA NATUNG GOVERNMENT COLLEGE, ITANAGAR

In pursuant to the Govt. Letter No- Nil, dated 16^th September 2021, applications are invited from the eligible candidates for filling up (09) nine posts of Guest Faculty at Dera Natung Govt. College, Itanagar for the academic session 2021-2022 purely on contractual basis.

Vacancies

1. Guest Faculty (History): 03 Posts.

2. Guest Faculty (English): 02 Posts.

3. Guest Faculty (Political Science): 02 Posts.

4. Guest Faculty (Chemistry): 01 Post.

5. Guest Faculty (Anthropology): 01 Post.

Salary

Guest Faculty engaged will be paid remuneration @ Rs. 1,000/- per class of one hour duration subject to the maximum of Rs. 25,000/- per month.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria includes Educational Qualifications and Age Limit.

Educational Qualifications

Educational Qualifications required are as per the UGC Norms.

1. Good Academic record with at least 55% marks in aggregate at Master Degree level in relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. However, there is a relaxation of 5% marks for the ST/SC candidates.

2. The candidate must have cleared NET conducted by the UGC, CSIR or other similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.

3. Candidates who are awarded Ph.D degree in accordance with the UGC regulations shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility criteria of NET/CSIR/SLET/SET.

Age Limit

Candidate appearing for the post of Guest Faculty must not be above 37 years of age. However, relaxation of up to a maximum of five years will be given to APST candidates.

Method of Selection

The eligible candidates will have to appear in the intervew/ viva voce to be conducted by the office of the Principal, Dera Natung Government College, Itanagar on the following day and time.

2. Guest Faculty (English): 25^th September 2021

3. Guest Faculty (Political Science): 26^th September 2021

4. Guest Faculty (Chemistry): 26^th September 2021

5. Guest Faculty (Anthropology): 26^th September 2021

Note

1. The candidates are required to register their names atthe PA to the Principal at least one hour before the commencementof the interview.

2. In the event of any information provided by the candidate found to be false or incorrect during and after the interview, his/her candidature shall be rejected.

Terms and Conditions

1. The engagementis purely temporary and may be discontinued at any time without notice.

2. If the performance of the Guest Faculty is found not suitable for the teaching work, he/she may be terminated without any prior notice.

3. Guest Faculty engaged will be paid remuneration @ Rs. 1,000/- per class of one hour duration subject to the maximum of Rs. 25,000/- per month.

4. The engagement shall be for maximum period of three months.

5. Guest Faculty has no right to claim for any regular engagement against the vacancy.

6. The candidate has to produce CV and all the required original documents/ testimonials before the selection board at the time of interview.

7. The decision of selection board shall be binding and final and no complaint shall be entertained.
