ARUNACHAL PRADESH PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION

The Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission invites applications online from the citizens of India for filling up of 01 (one) post of Dairy Development Officer (DDO), Group-B under the Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department in the Pay Matrix of Rs.44,900-1,42,400/- plus other allowances as admissible in the Arunachal Pradesh Government, from time to time. The lone post is un-reserved category i.e. open competition. The vacancy position is subject to variation, Any vacancy/post if received from Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department will be included and notified before the written examination is held.

Salary

Pay Matrix of Rs.44,900-1,42,400/- plus other allowances as admissible in the Arunachal Pradesh Government, from time to time.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicants must possess a B.Tech Degree in Dairy Development from a recognised University. However, candidates that have appeared or are appearing in the final semester/ year examination shall also be eligible to apply, subject to production of original certificate/ mark sheet at the time of viva voce/ Interview.

Age Limit

A candidate must not be less than 21 years and above 32 years of age as on 14th January 2022. However, upper age limit is relaxable in accordance with the orders issued by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh from time to time in respect of Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe candidates.

Reservation of Post

The lone post is un-reserved category i.e. open competition.

Examination Fee

Candidates are required to pay fee of Rs. 200/- only through online mode only.

Method of Selection

The eligible candidate will have to appear in the written examination in the following subjects followed by viva-voce:

1. General English & Essay: 100 Marks

2. General Knowledge: 100 Marks

3. Dairy Technology Paper-I: 200 Marks

4. Dairy Technology Paper-II: 200 Marks

5. Viva Voce: 75 Marks

Total: 675 Marks

Note

1. Candidates who secure a minimum of 33% marks in each written examination paper and a minimum of 45% marks out of aggregate total marks in the written examination papers shall be eligible for Viva voce. However, of such eligible candidates, only a number three times the Number of Posts advertised (Ratio of 1:3), in the order of merit, shall be invited for the Viva Voce/ Personality Test.

2. Candidates should not use Mobile Phone to apply online and should carefully read and understand browser information before applying online.

3. The candidates who have been declared qualified in the written examination will have to submit Xerox copies of the following documents/information to the commission one week prior to the actual date of Interview/ Viva voce.

  1. Recent passport size photographs.
  2. self-attested Xeroxed copies of Degree certificates and mark-sheet issued by the Assistant Registrar/Registrar/Controller of Examination/Vice-Chancellor of the concerned University to ascertain degree.
  3. Self-attested Xeroxed copy of Matriculation certificate for proof of age issued by the Board only will be accepted.
  4. Self-attested Xeroxed copy of Class-XII mark sheet & certificate.
  5. Self-attested Xeroxed copy of APST certificate and PRC/ Aadhaar Card for other candidates.
  6. All the supporting documents submitted by the candidates must be self attested otherwise the application will be rejected.

4. Qualified candidates will have to produce the above mentioned certificates and marksheet/ documents in original at the time of Interview/ viva voce, failing which he/she will not be allowed to appear in the Interview.

5. In case there are a large number of applicants, the commission may conduct an initial Recruitment Test (OMR Based Objective Type) on Horticulture Subiect, to limit the number of candidates for the written Examination to 12 times the advertised posts.

6. The decision of the commission as to the eligibility or otherwise of a candidate for admission to written examination or selection will be final and no correspondence or personal enquiry will be entertained.

1. Signature of the candidate on white paper with black ink pen (20-60 kb in jpg format).

2. Latest/Recent passport size photo (40-100 kb in jpg format).

3. For final year students, Bonafide Certificate to be uploaded (1MB in pdf format)'
